This tree was inspired by a hike I took in South Dakota. Trees were covered with various colors of material hanging from their branches. I was told that they were hung there by the Native American, representing the spirits of lost loved ones. This is my version of those trees. One of my favorite pieces.
Turquoise and Ruby Red signify both good fortune and creativity while the cardinal on the branch signifies harmony.
Carved out of genuine basswood.
The entire piece is then given a thin protective finish to seal the color and beauty for years to come.
Since each piece is custom made, yours is certain to be unique.
