I was inspired to create this piece while on one of my trips to the desert southwest. These strings of chilies are hung to dry and often used for cooking. Sometimes, ristras, are used for decoration.
Carved out of genuine basswood.
The entire piece is then given a thin protective finish to seal the color and beauty for years to come.
Since each piece is custom made, yours is certain to be unique.
